This Shipping & Refund Policy applies to all orders placed on kuycon.world (the "Website"), operated by:

1. Shipping

1.1 Destinations and shipping origin

We ship worldwide, from our dispatch points located in Hong Kong and France. Certain remote destinations may be subject to restrictions or longer transit times; these will be indicated at checkout where applicable.

1.2 Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order, based on the destination, weight and dimensions of the items.

1.3 Processing and delivery times

Orders are typically processed within 1 to 5 business days after payment is confirmed, excluding public holidays and company closure or leave periods. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and depend on the destination and the carrier selected.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, or events beyond our reasonable control.

1.4 Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information where available.

1.5 Customs, duties and import taxes (DDP / DAP)

For international shipments, the shipping option selected at the time of order determines who bears the import charges:

  • DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): we pay the customs duties and import taxes in advance. No additional charges are requested from you on delivery.
  • DAP (Delivered At Place): customs duties, taxes and import charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or the shipping cost. It is the customer's responsibility to check the amount of these charges in advance with the customs authorities of their country.

Refusal at customs clearance: if a parcel is refused during customs clearance and must be returned to the sender country, the customer will be charged the outbound and return shipping costs, plus a handling fee of 70 USD per case, in addition to the outbound and return shipping costs.

1.6 Risk and address accuracy

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for non-delivery or delays resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.


2. Right of Withdrawal (Cancellation)

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. This 14-day right applies to all customers worldwide. For consumers based in the European Union, this also reflects your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer law.

To exercise this right, notify us before the 14-day period expires by email at contact@kuycon.world, clearly stating your order number and your decision to withdraw.

You must then return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.


3. Returns

3.1 Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Returned within the applicable withdrawal/return period;
  • Restored to their original condition, with all accessories and documentation;
  • In their original, undamaged packaging.

The product may have been opened and tested, but must be restored to its initial condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer in the event of withdrawal, except where the return follows a defect validated by our customer service team (see §3.4 and §6).

3.2 How to return an item

  1. Contact us at contact@kuycon.world with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We will provide return instructions and the return address.
  3. Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided.

3.3 Return shipping costs

  • Change of mind / withdrawal: the cost of return shipping is borne by the customer.
  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: we cover the return shipping cost and arrange the return at our expense.

3.4 Damaged or defective items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographs of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate, at no cost to you.


4. Refunds

4.1 Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.

4.2 Timeframe

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days. The time for the funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider or bank.

4.3 Amount refunded

For a valid withdrawal, we refund the price of the product. The original standard delivery cost is refunded for full-order withdrawals; return shipping costs are not refunded except where the item was defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

4.4 Deductions

We may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.


5. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items may not be eligible for return for hygiene, safety, or customisation reasons. Any such exclusions will be clearly indicated on the relevant product page.


6. Limited Warranty

6.1 Warranty period

All Kuycon monitors purchased directly from kuycon.world are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects:

  • Worldwide: 1 year from the delivery date.
  • European Union: 2 years from the delivery date, in line with applicable EU statutory requirements.

We may also service Kuycon monitors purchased from other resellers; in such cases, repair fees apply. Our workshop located in France can carry out the repairs.

6.2 Pixel defect policy

  • Acceptable standard: up to 3 dead or bright pixels in total, provided they are not concentrated in the central area of the screen (a 5 cm × 5 cm square).
  • Warranty coverage: free replacement or full refund in the event of more than 3 defective pixels, or any defect located in the central area of the screen.

6.3 Other covered defects

The following are also treated as defects covered by this warranty:

  • Failure of critical components, such as the power supply or video inputs;
  • Severe display faults, such as permanent lines, major backlight bleed, or significant colour distortion.

6.4 Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Minor pixel anomalies that remain within the acceptable standard set out in §6.2;
  • Cosmetic wear and tear;
  • Misuse, accidents, or external causes;
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, installation, or use.

6.5 Claim procedure

  1. Email contact@kuycon.world with proof of the defect (photographs or video) and your order number.
  2. Depending on your location, we will arrange transportation on a case-by-case basis; where applicable, we provide a prepaid shipping label to our service facility or warehouse.
  3. After inspection, we will repair, replace, or refund the product at our option.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.


7. Governing Law

This Shipping & Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
